Summer Reading Program to start June 2 at local library
Summer vacation is right around the corner. A great way to spend some of the summer vacation is to come to the 2021 Summer Library Program at the Mitchell County Public Library.
The library staff is getting geared up for what looks to be a fun-filled summer program. All programs are free to attend with no sign-ups and will all be in-person this year.
Programs will run Wednesdays from June 2nd to July 7th. The reading challenge sign ups start on May 24th and all reading logs are due July 1st.
Library Director Maggie Bootman said all teens and children from the county are encouraged to attend, and those visiting family here are welcome too.
