Get ready to meet the camels at the library next week
The Texas Camel Corps will be at the Mitchell County Library on Wednesday, June 30, for both the children’s program in the morning and the teen program in the afternoon. The program will address a variety of topics from the adaptive nature of camels to their environment to the similarities that man and camel share while living in harsh climates.
Animals of all shapes and sizes visited the Mitchell County Library Wednesday, June 16, during the Summer Library Program, held annually.
Mitchell County 4-H and Colorado ISD brought several types of animals for the children to interact with and learn about.
This is one of the many programs the library has offered this year. Other programs still to come include:
