Catalytic Converter thefts

Attention Mitchell County Citizens! In the past few days, multiple catalytic converters have been stolen in our county.

According to Sheriff Toombs, the theft happens in the early hours of the morning, sometime between 2:00 a.m. and 5:00 a.m.

Sheriff Toombs advises citizens always to be alert to noises outside of their homes. Please call the Mitchell County Sheriff's Department or the Colorado City Police Department if you suspect unusual activity.
