ATTENTION MITCHELL COUNTY CITIZENS...

We are still in the deep freeze... Local citizens, we are still experiencing horribly frigid temperatures and it is looking like we will not be above freezing until Friday. The newspaper is being delayed possibly, due to no internet and no software programs working. Hopefully, internet will be restored and we will be able to print a paper this week, although it will be late. We haven’t missed one since Earl and I have owned the paper, and we sure don’t want to now. Thank you for your patience through this time. Check on your neighbors, ask for help if you need it, and help each other as you can. This too, shall pass.
