A 53-year-old Baird man was killed Tuesday morning when the truck he was driving ran off Interstate 20 and down the embankment at Rogers Road. The truck was carrying hydrochloric acid and first responders had to wait for a HazMat team out of Midland to start cleanup. Major damage was done to the overpass.
